Arthur Martz is the Founder and President of Patriot Pursuit Inc., a mission-driven organization dedicated to supporting veterans, law enforcement officers, and first responders through therapeutic outdoor experiences. A U.S. Navy veteran and lifelong firefighter, Art brings decades of service, leadership, and personal insight into the unique challenges faced by those who serve.

Driven by a deep passion for the outdoors, Art created Patriot Pursuit to be a place of healing, growth, and rediscovery. Whether it's hiking, fishing, camping, or simply reconnecting with nature, he believes that outdoor activities can play a vital role in recovery and resilience.

Through his work, he empowers others not only to pursue their passions but also to uncover new ones—helping them find purpose, strength, and community along the way.

Trent Houtz proudly serves as Vice President of Patriot Pursuit, bringing his passion for service and the outdoors to the heart of the organization.

After graduating high school, Trent joined the U.S. Army and served honorably in Afghanistan. An avid outdoorsman, he spends his time hunting, fishing, and shooting competitive archery.

Trent is deeply committed to Patriot Pursuit’s mission and finds great fulfillment in volunteering his time to help veterans and first responders reconnect with nature and camaraderie through outdoor adventures. 

I’m a Desert Storm Navy veteran, lifelong firefighter who has proudly served in multiple officer roles, and an avid outdoorsman.

My newest passion is archery hunting for whitetail, a pursuit that combines skill, patience, and a deep respect for the outdoors. I joined Patriot Pursuit to give back to my fellow service members and to make a lasting difference—continuing the tradition of service that has shaped my life.

Patriot pursuit team member, I am a Retired Police Officer of 30yrs. Currently active outdoors enthusiast with deep appreciation of those that served. I am looking forward to sharing the amazing experiences that Patriot Pursuit provides to our deserving first responders and military personnel so that they too can relax , have fun and create those memories that last a lifetime.
